no idea how many miles and how long for reliability. i suppose that would be based upon individual opinion.
yes evo is good. many people around here have dealt with them and i have yet to hear anything negative uttered about them.
i got my side markers for $16 each back in late 2000 from Carlsen Porsche @ 650-856-6300

I don't think you will have too many reliability issues...I'd say the clutch is the only concern - but you have beefed it up anyway.
Note that with the X51 kit there are no internal engine mods at all - (except for the oil starvation issue on earlier motors - I think, not too sure about this)
Ok.. the X51 only provides for around an extra 20Kw or so but even though your SC provides more HP it does have the advantage of providing it at low pressure so it should not stress the internals too much in that regard.
There will be more loads placed on the rods/crank at high RPMs etc. but in general you don't see too many 996 motors grenading from hard track usage and as you probably will not be a hardcore everyday Track Driver (correct me if I'm wrong here) with the car, it should be quite fine....
Don't know about the rear tyres longevity statistics though

I would like to modify to sports exhaust first before put the super charger on. If I do supercharger with evoms.com, do I have to use their exhaust? i listen to the fabspeed exhaust and i really don't like it. it's too crispy and high tone. I am looking for something sounds lower tone more like V8 type if any. How do you compare the techart, ruf, and febspeed exhaust?
