Hey Ben nice video. But who took the video, tell him he must have been having fun because he couldn't hold the camera still.

Is EVO SC "enough" ?
Are clutch/flywheel (else?) upgrades recommended/wise ?
No track plans (yet).
Thanks

hey paul, yeah it's enough (for me, for now). after seeing that video, todd @ evo decided his SC'd 996 needed the flywheel too :-) he said the reving is just so much faster with the lightweight flywheel. that said, the SC without the flywheel is still a heck of a lot more car than stock.

as for the track, we don't have any close ones. the ones that are a couple hours away are pretty picky about cabs and rollbars. POC and PCA both require rollbars (conflicting requirements between the two) which mount in a way that bastardizes the interior. if there was something i could take in an out in a couple hours, maybe.

About to get the Supercharger for my C2 cab

I am about to get the supercharger for my 2000 C2 cab. Went into Evolution Motorsports and met with Todd (VERY nice guy).

After reading what Ben wrote - it seems like the place to go. Anybody here who has had a supercharger installed have anything they think I should know?

Get to know the tire guy real good. Other than that the SC'ed C2 are fun.

Russell...

I am having EVO kit #10 installed in my car right now. It's taking a little longer than I had hoped, but with luck will have it back by this weekend. I'll post the results ASAP.

Regards

Did you have your car shippped to Tempe, AZ? And then plan to have them ship it back to you once done? (btw, what is kit # 10?)

I live here in Phoenix, and just drive my car over to Tempe.

Russell

My guys in Northern Virginia are doing the job. Kit # 10 means it's the 10th kit they've sold (unit #10), that's all.

Regards

Is your car a 3.4 or 3.6. Just had my 2000 3.4 supercharged, feels great but I need more power. Thinking about doing the PSS9's and the low mass fly wheel also. I did the fab speed headers and low restriction cats, but had to put the factory mufflers back on. The fab speed mufflers were attracting to much attention from the Mass state police!
