Congrats on the 996. I also was a BMW convert....well, used to own a 914/6 but that was a long time ago. Love the color.

thanks gang, the color is certainly growing on me and its great knowing I won't see many more like it.

Brake goodies are on the way, semi solid motor mounts will go on in the next couple weeks as well, I hear its a nice upgrade that you can feel.

I know I'll get a lot of flack for doing this but I did buy this car to pimp my Caffeine and Gasoline car group, so the next item after the wheels will be a stripe set with the C&G logos, part of me wants to wrap the roof panel in gloss black or carbon to tie into the wheels. We will see how it works out.

Time to roll some rear fenders.

Niche 19x9.5 rear 19.8.5 front
285/30 rear 245/35 front

Front fits like a dream, the rear needs to be massaged ever so slightly. I'm guessing a 275 would have fit perfectly. For clarification the car is sitting on H&R coilovers at ROW ride height and alignment.

45 rear 47 front.
The rear probably should have used a 275 tire but with a little fender lip roll on the underside the 285 work very well...
