It's not my car, but my dad's car, he's not into forum that much, but I've been on forums for a while, I'm a moderator on my local Subaru forum, so I've been tasked to find him parts, solutions and all I can on forums

I was tasked to get the car back into "mint" shape, I'm no pro, but I've practiced and I've got it pretty nailed down on how to polish and remove some scracthes, so I'll let the pictures talk by themselves!

It's my dad's new/used Porsche 911 Carrera, 75k on the clock, needed lots of love on the outside, lots of scratches and dings, but managed to remove most of them. I did IronX, claybar and then a 2-step polish, sealant than a wax, car looks amazing now. I'm sure since I've done a good job, I'll be able to borrow it once in a while, the reason I've joined the forum.

I've been driving it for the past couple days as well, and it's a whole different car vs Subaru's, smooth yet powerful and direct. I'll have some questions down the road, but for now here are the pictures:

Thanks! I'm wondering, did the 996 C2 come with "chrome" wheels? Or was it an option? Or was it done afterwards?

The car needs a bit of suspension work in the front, and it seems like there's a pulley noise at the front of the engine (near the rear of the car) I'm trying to nail that down, but we'll probably have to bring it to a specialist since I have no clue what it is, seems like it's coming near the alternator and to the right, near the other pulley (not sure what part that is yet).

But overall, for the price he got it for, can't complain!

Looks great. Love the color combo. You'll need to convince your dad to replace those amber side markers. The clear ones look *much* nicer.

Which part of town are you in?

Yea, that's my next step, get the clear side markers, as for which part, my dad is in the east end, Embrun more specifically, but both work downtown Ottawa.

It's in the plan, he has the "burn-in" marks in his headlights, though that's the only thing, I am thinking of doing him a retrofit with projectors, and at the same time get rid of the amber!

Congrats and welcome!

Those wheels were a factory option on my car so very likely the same on yours. I wasn't the biggest fan of the chrome so I changed them.
