Ladies and Gentlemen as Promised...

Hey guys and gals,

Since my 00 996 Coupe began to leak oil via the rear main seal I decided to do a how to article on how to replace it. I hope this sheds some light on the RMS for all you non-technical guys.

http://www.c-speedracing.com/howto_porsche.php

I have already done a few more simple how-to articles so enjoy.

If any of you have any previous articles you may want to add just let me know and we can format it and write you as the author!

Thanks and Good Luck

that is one awesome write-up!

still amazes me that such a little thing causes so much grief on some peoples rides.....plus all that work just to get to a small seal....simply amazes me.....

Flat6,

Thanks very much for your effort in contributing this DIY! I know how hard it is to stop what you're doing and position the camera and then do the write up afterwards. Although I don't have this in my car(knock on wood) I'm sure a lot of folks here will definitely benefit on this.
