IMS Bearing Class Action

I heard today from a buddy that there is a class action for certain years of the 996, but not starting until 2001.
Anyone know why earlier years aren't included? I have a 1999 and was affected by it. Luckily I caught it early and was able to fix it without buying an entire engine.

Yes. The class action was already settled. Goes back only 10 years for coverage. Many threads herein if you want to search them out. Welcome to the forum.
