not that I am looking for a 997 just saying that one is similar mileage and all for 38k. im gonna keep my eye on the 996 price.
The price is not a bad place to start at all. IF the interior has been properly taken care of and near-mint And the exterior is clean with paint that has been garaged and not pitted. Wheels clean without curb-rash, all maintenance done and current on everything. Follow the wife's lead and go look at it.
I got my '04 C4 with 62k mi. for a tick under $30k. I probably could have paid less but it is really clean with like-new carpeting and only "creases" in the leather, not cracks.
If you like it, get it. I'm just not into getting my panties in a wad over a few bucks.
YMMV
