I have the EVO M's and it sounds good. The problem is whenever cold the damned thing throws PSM and ABS codes and the car bucks all over the place. Might go back to stock if anyone wants to buy the EVO. Had it since August, maybe 1500 miles driven since then. Yes, replaced the MAF but still throws codes daily.

Your money is better spent on Fister Mufflers which sound great and actually add some HP and TQ. Less than $300 cost plus the install labor.

The wife feels that way about the whole car!

I live about 10 minutes away from FD Motorsports, that's going to be my next stop.

He was recommended by a shop here in NY. Best money spent thus far, second best was the European version handling kit that replaced original shocks, struts, coils and sway bars.

I was sent that picture by AJ at fabspeed. This is evidently not the GT3 version (similar obviously) but their new one for the std 996 motors. I'm not sure why they haven't posted that picture on their website at this point but I'm told that's the one I will be getting. AJ didn't mention not sharing the picture with anyone when he emailed it to me so I figured it was OK to post it up here. Contact them directly to order and I'm sure they will tell you that's what you'll get.

You won't regret the muffler purchase. It sounds better after a few weeks of running it. Next step is to find some tunnels to rip through with the windows down. Pure joy

Picked up the fab speed intake today, found an old stock at a local speed shop for $100, will install next spring.

Intake

Eurocup GT intake alooks good as well
Though the main difference is that the Eurocup has oiled filters where the Fabspeed has dry filters
The price difference is substantial though

Anyone used the Eurocup GT intake?

I'm intersted in it for sure
The only info on it I can find is a monthly report on a 996 C4 in GT Porsche magazine where an owner had isntalled one along with Quicksilver exhaust

In my sig. I don't recommend anything I haven't used. I've used it for about 2 years. It's been around longest and is used extensively in Europe. Nothing negative to say about it. As stated above "engine candy".
