you have to remember tire diameter is very important...stock diameter is roughly 25 inches....295/30/18 or 265/35/18
when people go 19's I see a lot of people go 997 size...295/30/19 or such...which are about 26 inches....about 1 full inch taller than stock. A reason why some people rub...something to think about

You should try 225's up front and 285 or even 275 in the rear.

I have 19x11 et56mm in the rear on my C2 coupe and have rubbing issues. i am rolling the fenders this week. I would stick with 18's on a 996 and make sure you have 60+mm of offset if you go with an 11" wheel.

I'm not sure rolling the fenders will help, one of my Kinesis K28 wheels just broke in the center section so I replaced them with a set of Carrera Classic's from a 997 and the rear are 19x11 with a 67 offset and a 305/30/19 tire and they barely fit and my fenders are rolled. My car is a NB C2.
Though I do hope I'm wrong and it works out.

Yeah, I'm not happy with how the 19's look either. They fill too much of the wheel well and I had to raise the car 1" to get them to fit. I'm tempted to put them on the marketplace and go back to 18's. Expensive mistake, but I may be happier

True
I'm running the 18" turbo twist from the 996 turbo on my 2000 c2 narrow body stock height

F 18x8 + 50
R 18X11 + 45

fronts are fine but I have to stretch a 275/35/18 on the rear to avoid rubbing, you will need a higher offset than 45 to make it fit nice, but it also depends on ride height and tire width you choose !

I have a question, do you gyus Think its possible to use a 15 mm spacer with 10 inch rims, 285/30R18 offset 65 on the rear?

Or should I go whitout the spacer?

roll your rear fenders and make sure you get extended lugs with those spacers and you will be fine. The right choice of tire will help too, some have thicker sidewalls than others.

Fenders are allready rolled, extended lugs check! Tires are Michelin sp2 N3.

Í hope it will work, and if not, well... I´ll just have to remove the spacer then.

Nothing a touch of extra camber wont fix! Especially if its just a weekend car.

Stick to 18 inches on the nb. I just bought 19 inch 9 and 11 inch wide rims which caused rubbing and other issues. I had to buy a new set of smaller tires which made a difference but I have a feeling i am going to run into a couple issues in the future.

I have 9/11" wheels and springs lowered 1.25 inches. No rear tire rub with 275 30's on the rear and 235 35's on the front. I did have a tiny rub twice during a u-turn on a downslope in the same place in town on the fronts, but very little. I love them. The car is a 99 C2, Not my 996TT pictured.
