First gear sometimes pops out

Sometimes not always first gear pops out. I can put it back in but I have to jiggle the shifter in order to get it in there. All other gears are fine. Could this be the first sign of trans going bad or are the bushing in the shifter console going bad? Any one had this happen before?

If I recall correctly it has something to do with the sychros but I do also recall a "detent" product that is supposed to fix that issue too.

I know about the chronos that usually happens when the car is in motion. Mine happens when the the car is stationary. If i'm sitting at a light and I try to move forward sometimes the stick pups out. If the car is rolling and I go to first gear its fine. All other gears work fine, if I engage the clutch real slow from a standing start it works fine.
