'03 911 or '06 Boxster S?
So the Boxster S was fun.... but the 911 had the added element of fear. Absolutely thrilling to drive. I brought my husband to the dealership (who were all in this) to test drive 3 cars. When I asked him to choose which he would like to bring home, he pointed to the one I already bought. I gave him the keys, threw my purse in, and told him, let's go!
He's still on a high. Thank you all for the insightful feedback. I feel I made the best decision under $30k mark, with added full warranty for $3k. Management gave me serious breaks because they know this won't be our last Porsche.
BTW, Kg911 I'm an only child. Kg911, onewhippedpuppy, and fasr 996, thank you, I'm flattered. But, he's the one working his *** off so he deserves this.
Happy driving all!

Pictures? You got it. Baby's 1st bath and wax.
It's so much car that he gave me the keys! Apparently it's mine during the week and his on the weekend. I commute to NYC so he wants to make my commute a little less boring. Next time in the market, I'm on the lookout for a matching, his and hers Porsche.

His and hers is a great idea...I have the 911 for me, and a Cayenne S for the wife!
What dealer are you going to be using? Or independent? I see your in NJ, I am close so just curious.

Nice, but the Cayenne won't fit our offspring to replace the Expedition. The Audi Q7 will replace it perhaps next winter or major road trip. I believe the plan is I get to keep this and he'll get either a Turbo or Audi R8. Both are rare gently used so whichever comes available first under $100k.
I had my contact info among dealerships from CT, PA, NJ, and DE. Paul Miller had the best selection, very fair pricing, and completed the key/milestone maintenance requirements on the house. It's too old to be CPO so that's comforting. I negotiate for a living so warranty and baseline price was fair; I was able to obtain info on previous owners of work done and find out owner was a weekend driver. Owner's son competes and is present at many PCAs; PCA tech classes are in their garages... Very active on the scene so many come their. Raj was able to hold 2 cars for me for over a week until I could make it up there.
Other dealerships in NJ are posers I found. Useless knowledge of the cars they have on the lot new or used. Limited selections and majority are auto/pdk. Bucks County PA was ok to deal with and their selections don't move as fast. Eatontown & Princeton move fast but quality not as good as Millers. They don't know the former owners. Clients would hang at Paul Millers early in the morning--majority former clients who talk shop. It's funny to see them reluctant to trade in their cars for new ones. I know my car's previous "handler" was also reluctant until he got into his new turbo.
