Simple modding questions...

How can I easily remove the Carrera script from the rear of the car?

What do people use to 'stick' a new logo on - silicon, glue, etc?

Is the pollen filter an easily replacable part? My car is a 2001 and the A/C stinks for the first few seconds of use each time. I suspect the pollen filer. They are cheap to buy so I am reluctant to pay a Porsche dealer to make the change.

And the last question... since I 'persuaded' my wife that the 996 was a 'family' car (4 seats - I have a 3 year old and a 10 month old), has anyone tried to put child seats into the back? Do we *have* to use the Porsche ones?

Thanks in advance.

Porsche seats are actually Britax seats with different seat covers.
They also come with a belt buckle to deactivate the front passenger air bag, but since you will be using the seat in the rear, this is unnecessary.

I used GE clear silicone. Works well and easy to clean any that squeezes out.

Thanks all - and thanks for the info on the car seats, that should help take the heat off, my wife was not too happy once she saw how small the rear seats are.

Use a hair blower to heat up the emblem on the rear decklid, the lift it up, remove excess glue with your fingers and then wax over the panel and your all set.
