Has anyone tried this out

http://www.rollyourfender.com/

Apparently the guy rents the fender rolling tool. He does say it will not fit porsche's with 130mm bolt circle. Is that the 996 or is that older porsches.

Thanks,
Corey

Hi Corey
As you know I have on my car the OEM GT3 set that is 11" with 295 at the rear and I have no problems with the fenders!
Just to let you know.

Nice find! Looks like the exact tool make/model of tool sold on Tirerack.com that sounds like a great deal. If you had any interest from the folks in NJ you guys should do a Fender rolling day.

Left, you may not have a problem rolling fenders because your car is not lowered (at least it does not look that way)... If you change the suspension, it might be an issue...

also I don't think he has spacers. the 11" GT3 were a factory option for the narrow body 996. The question is when your car is lowered, with spacers and such...

I think I'm leaning twords this rental thing but will have to wait to next month since I have too many things going on, like painted calipers and such and will have no time to do it.

Correy,
Your calipers turned out really nice. Looks factory painted.

Thanks...

Can't wait to screen on the logo's factory style and get those puppies on. Then I can concentrate on the next mod. I'm trying to stick to 1 big or 2little mods a month since it's my daily driver. I really need to start mod'ing my cayenne and putting my track car back together, but moding the Carrera is too much fun.

Cheers,
Corey

I know what you mean by too much fun. I took my car into the shop to have the Misha wing put on, I ended up getting the calipers done (red), Silver hood crest put on, Alum gauge rings, and the CF strut brace put on. Next on my list is Alpine Nav, Alum pedals, and probably yellow RPM gauge. This mod thing gets addicted I tell ya!
