Anniversary Badging

I understand the 2004 model Porsche 996 was an anniversary edition. It had the "911" somewhere on it's rear bonnet. Can anyone give me the exact measurements where the "911" was located. I'm guessing it was pretty much centered but I don't want to put the new emblem in the wrong location.

Thank much

The 911 is indeed centered and 1 3/8 " from the bottom on the engine bonnet.

I have some pics but they are 1200 x 1600 and I have no idea how to post them here but if you want to PM me I would be happy to send them to you.

Chuck

9112GO,
Thanks for your information. The dimensions from the bottom of the engine bonnet is really all I needed..

Thanks again Chuck

Doctor K,

The badge is comprised of 4 pieces. To get them correctly aligned will take a jig or a lot of luck. And that's assuming the paint beneath your existing badge (I assume you're re-badging a non-40th Anniversary model) is not darker than the surrounding paint.

Pete - Porsche will sell these for $330 to anyone with a VIN identifying them as the owner of an anniv edition 911.

Ridiculous.

We sell the '911' logo in silver. Not chrome, but silver. Stunning. $49.
