Installing side skirts on 2001, C2 need advice
Make sure you adjust the rear bracket such that the screw successfully connects. Otherwise your skirts will sag after a few summers. You can also drill through the front edge (in wheel well) and use the OEM push pin to secure. (GT3 ones I had didn't come w front secure hole)
I recommend using the 3m Adhesion Promoter
Do it right, do it once.

Well - did the side skirts last week.
After thinking what to do i decided to fasten the skirts more or less permanent.
As i had aftermarket GT3 side skirts the fit was not 100% (more like 95%) so i didnt like to use clips and 3M tape. In Iceland there is quite a lot of rain, salt snow etc. so i dont trust the double sided tape for that kind of situation . . .
Firstly i bought 2x steel L shaped list to use underneath to be able to securely fasten the skirts.
I fastened the L list with black polymer paste and let it dry for 24h. It really is fixed there !
When i had done the final test fitting i used the same polymer paste and put it inside the edges of the skirts. I then carefully placed the side skirts, used a jack to hold it underneath and tape on the sides. I had this on for approx. 18 hours so it would get stuck. I then gently closed very small gaps with polyurethan paste (wheel arches etc).
Im very happy with the results - it sits spot on and will not get loose
