Good news, slipped a gallon size ziplock over the K&N and washed the car, no problem this time! I do have a flat tire this morning though, you didn't warn me about that.

We need to start a "Porsche wave". So used to it with the Vettes and hot rods that we've been waving at Porsches out of reflex. So far only confused looks in return...if they look at all.

Oh, congrats on the bag working. You may want to take the filter off, clean it and LIGHTLY re-oil outside only, they sell the kits at Pep Boys.
You clean it, let it dry in the sun, then lightly re-oil outside, pat with paper towel, and place it on some newspaper in the sun so any excess oil will come off. Less oil is better.
