Thanks, yeah the white sticker was a good choice. It look more visible than the black even from a distance. I was at autozone getting ready to buy another can of red caliper paint to do the pinstriping but then I saw this red trim kit that matched perfectly. I went that route instead plus it saved me a lot of time. It's just stick on with 3M double tape. It turns out great IMO.

Looks good. I bet you are slightly faster too with the lighter f14 wheels. Some will say time attack stripes are old but I still like them personally.

Depo LED tail lights

next on my list to change was the old tail lights..just received the Depo Led lights & they look awesome IMO..
it's a wee bit pricey but I gotta have it..took less than 10 min to install..while the decklid was up, thought I
checked all the fluids..

these look dated & its time to go

I got the red/smoke version to match the 3rd smoke led brake light

with the driving lights on & switch pulled out for the fog light

is it just my set b/c I don't see the fog light on the left side ? does the Depo light not have fog light ?

Sweet! I normally don't like the 997.2 lights but when packaged together with the kind of mods you have, it seems to work well.

You pretty much done on the outside?

thanks, i was hesitant at 1st bout the 997.2 light style on a 996, but after a few search in the pics thread for similar car like mine. I decided to go for it..
no I still got a few more mods left on the list for the exterior...I think

LED DRL lights installed

to install it the proper way, the bumper needs to be remove.
for those that wants to install the 997 GT3 bumper w/signal lights,
you will need to trim a slot about 2.5" x 6" to make room for the signal lights..a few minor trimming to the vent duct and both left & right reinforcement bar.

while the bumper was off, its a good time to clean out the radiator..this explain why my temp gets hotter than normal.

I used a couple home made bracket so the lights would tuck inside the vent

the kit comes with the auto on/off relay

Red Carrera bagde

the rear looks naked w/out the badge so I decided to put it back on..
since there's extra paint left from painting the calipers. Thought I use it on the badge. I think it compliments the red of the tail lights.

Is the PORSCHE on the brake calipers really only a sticker? What happens if you take the car on the track? Won't it just burn off? GREAT pics on the front of the car... it looks great!!!
