Best choice for Brake Pads...street/track application?

OK all Ye Experts...what is the best 'combo' pad to put on my 996 with stock brakes? I am about 80/20, street to track use.

I must say, my stock pads have run great, even through 17,000+ mileswith lots of DE and other track events.

Please advise!

Thanks, Brad

For 80% street... I would say Pagid RS4-2-1 (Dark Blue) Street "Sport" pad.
Better cold braking than the Orange and quieter too.

I have the Pagid 4-2-1 Type S pads that Loren mentioned in his post on my car. I am very happy with them for street use....they bite as well as the stock pads when cold and have only minimal squeal when hot. Their hi-temp performance and lack of fade is superior to stock and they work very well for autocross. If you're doing DE's, though, you might need a more aggressive race oriented pad. Expect to pay about $250 to $275 for a complete set of the Type S pads and I would definitely do both front and rear to keep a proper balance between axles.
