Just did first mod- removed that silver stripe!!
Well this is a surprise to me...but i just found myself buying a 996 again, so this is my 3rd 911, first in 2010 i bought a 2002 C2 then in 2012 2005 911S "Launch edition" that i totaled last august. Bought a few cars including E39 M5 E63 M6 and currently my DD is a 2009 650i.
Last week i saw this gorgeous C4S on here being sold by member "150shot" talked to the owner as i loved his mods, and service history including IMS bearing + car still has warranty, we made a deal a couple of days ago, i called the shop where the car was at as he was removing the alcantera middle console, and had them check out the car for me, all was good, and i just Flew to CA today and drove her back to AZ (my 3rd Porsche from CA)
i didn't know how much i'd like the Basalt Black but its a great color in person, car sits nice and low how i like them, i've lowered all my cars, even my dog is lowered i have a wiener dog lol....
Car sounds wicked with the headers, evoms & PSE (only thing i dont like is the AASCO light weight flywheel rattle)
I'm removing the silver stripe ASAP as well!
Here she is a 2002 911 C4S w 60k miles & warranty till 2015.

That's the beauty of mods - you can make the car look exactly like you want it to look. I would have kept the stripe and removed the wing! To each his own!
