I've warmed up a bit to the Spyder (non Depo) LEDs as well. Not sure if they are quite as bright but certainly a better price point. I wish mine were slightly smoked and may have them done with removable film. Just to take some of the bright red away.

Oddly the Depo Tail Lights reuse your incandescent light bulbs for the reverse lights. So I dropped these $20 CREE reverse lights in. Definitely brighter and more consistent in appearance with the brake, running light and turn signal already being LED. Guess I should probably do the 3rd brake lights as well.

You can with a bit of elbow grease and repolish. I've done this three times so far. The newer night shades formula is improved IMO as it is slightly lighter, allowing you more control over the tint level. If you want factory euro tint levels, I'd recommend Duplicolor's Shadow Metalcast paint. The clear coat that comes with that is also better than their regular clear coat. I've used that as well a couple times.

I believe those are the Spyder LED lights. From what I understand they are not quite as easy to plug and play but are not impossible to get set-up.

There are quite a few nice options on eBay in the $300-400 range. Personally, I like the dark tint, especially against Speed Yellow. I found a used set on eBay for $75, just to try them out. The particular set gave me errors after a couple of months. By that time, I knew what I wanted, and did my homework. With a $5.00 resistor, there are no more errors. Installation is a breeze, even for the mechanically challenged (like me). They make a huge impact over OEM.
