My CDR23 radio is now changing stations automatically. It only happens on 107.9 and it always changes to 102.9. This problem just started recently. Driving me nuts. Any idea what's going on?

 

If you have one hit the "manual" button and see if that helps. Also, make sure your search and or scan buttons are not stuck.

 

Tried that at lunch no luck. Any other ideas?

 

Well, it could be a short somewhere in the unit. But one question, is it changing channels literally, ie the numbers change on the display or is one channel overriding the other because of signal strength?

 

I'm listening to the station 107.9 and then I'm listening to 102.9. Other than different sounds the display changes and that's it. No road bumps or anything else, completely random. Sometimes 15 minutes and others it changes every 10 seconds.

 

Sounds like a short or a problem in the programming. It's hard to say, maybe replace with e newer unit. Sorry I can't help more.
