Interesting, I just bought a pair of rear N1 Pilot Sports for $308 each at Tire Rack , and $25 tire to mount balance, etc. (at the local Porsche Dealer no less!) And the soft drink was thrown in for free!

So to add insult to injury, not only did you get a nail in your tire, you got a shaft from the tire shop too!

mine is not N1, i have the better kind N2. You got the one that had issues

and they addressed it in the new version N2.

N2 at tirerack is about the same price I paid.

You should consider upgrading from N1 (windows 95) to N2 (windows XP)

He went to N2 and problem went away. I don't know if he got it realigned or not. Never heard back.

Ask Arling how much my rear passenger tire cost PER MILE! I think it come out to $6.80/mile. I didn't even get FIFTY MILES on the 315 Conti rear tire before something bad happened to it.
