Yup, I would do it again. 30,000 miles with no problems and extremely reliable power. It is a great starting point for some extreme power increases while maintaining daily driving ability and comfort.

As with any mod, it helps if you understand the system.

hell yes but i wish i did it sooner. if i were a richer man i would have gone TT (993TT 2WD ). don't get me wrong, i love the SC but it just doesn't have the torque punch of a TT.

well, i am not a rich man so this is the BEST way to get more HP for the NA. 400+HP for 40K~50K (car+SC). not too shabby.

I am more of C2 type. I love the Turbo but... I love the lines of the MKI Aero. I have setup the car exactly how I wanted it. SY with the Euro GT3 look. If they sold the MKI GT3 in the US that would be the car for me. I have gone around and around in my head on a MKII GT3 purchase. But at this time I am happy with what I have except the power. I actually prefer the MKI look over the MKII.

Perlon GT3 Seats painted backs
GT3 Console Delete
TEQ. Roll Bar
SY Rear Center console
rear Seats removed
SY Seat belts (thinking about going red though)
Ruf pedals
GT3 shifter
MKI Front splitter
SSK
PSS9's
M030 Sways (May go with GT3 sways)
Euro rear bumper
Full MKI Aero
Black BSA Wheels
Yellow Calipers (still up in the air but they will be upgraded)
Light weight fly wheel
RMS Seal fixed
New Clutch
SS Polished Headers, Mufflers, & Cat bypass

Now I need some power!!!! Especially up here MILE HIGH...

Yes I would do it again. At that time I had a decision to make. either put the money into a supercharger or get a turbo. I knew immediately that If I did get the turbo I would be chasing a whole new avenue of pain with upgrading turbo's, ecu, doing a stage X with evo etc. I think that most guys on this forum would agree, we would soon be looking for ways to mod the car anyways in which case reliability would be in question no matter what you do. personally for me I don't track the car or drive really fast all the time so it doesn't really matter the hp numbers (just an ego trip) and I loved the look of my car so the supercharger was the easiest thing to do. Now I have something to talk about with my friends and have created something pretty unique. and oh ya 470+ hp is pretty good too

Absolutely, the car needed the extra power, coming out of a 5.7 liter V8, I needed a little more to happen when I hit the skinny pedal on the right, now it is really fun to drive. I am number 77,I added the SC right after break-in on a new 2004 996 cab. I now have 12,000 miles on it and the SC runs great, no noises, except the expected wine, which I really like. It is totally drivable as and everyday car, and a nice little sleeper too, until you hit the throttle. Then be ready to shift or you will be into the rev limiter before you know it. Thanks Shark Werks - Alex, Jim!!! and EVO too!

Actually drove the silver one with 24k miles on it, runs nice. The 993 interior is going to take some getting used to though, a little 70-ish for me.
