The ROW kit used to be the best deal for those seeking minimum lowering but Porsche as usual has raised prices over the years. At under $1k including sway bars, it was a great value. Now they sell for $1400.
The Bilstein/H&R combo price above is an avg price
I can get the ROW lowering kit 00004450032 for $1150 shipped...
I am assuming thats what the majority of you think I should go with..?
Its better than the Bilstein/H&R combo, and even less expensive...!

Well, after all that back and forth, I decided to stick with the H&R spring / Bilstein combo. Got it all delivered today, so its time to head to the garage!
I think I might have the most difficult 911 to do this work on. Its a C4 AND Cab...
Done! Took 9 hours (5pm to 2am) by myself. Could not have done it without the support of these forums...!
Looks like its down about 1 1/4 inches in the front. Back is still settling down. Really like it! Getting alignment Monday after a few more miles of breakin.
One thing I did that was a bit different. I had spring compressors, but there is so little room in there I ended up using a tie down ratchet strap (photo below). The rest (including the unbolting of the halfshafts for the C4) went just as everyone said it would.
Oh, and the project started off with a bang. Broke the lock for my wheels. Had to do the "12pt socket and hammer" trick to get them off. New locks on order...!
