carrera to GT3 upgrade, need some advice

formerfrost is infamous around these parts
so here is my update guys. i had a guy call me last week with an offer to buy a cabriolet that was hit on the front end and he had it as his junk yard if i wanted to see it. i went to see it yesterday and i bought it from him for 6 grand. here are the pictures if you want to see.

Looks like you may have to replace that front drivers side tire because you can't repair a tire with sidewall damage.

the car just got here this morning and im gana spend the next few days taking it apart to see what i can salvage. it has a 3.6 engine in it only problem is its an automatic transmission and im looking for a manual. ill be posting up on the market place with any parts that i can salvage and if enyone is interested in something specific just shoot me a PM and ill let you know what i have and ill sell it to you guys for cheap since this sites been helpful in assisting me to make up my mind on my car. thx again to those of you who responded especially you alpine

so far just from looking at it the only tire AND the only rim thats still usable is the one on the back right. rim is a little scraped but it can be painted and the tire is compleetly intact and almost new actually. as for the rest theres too much damage to use them.

Hay ill send them to you for free lol, if I can find them in that mess . Maybe ill post them up on the give away thread on the marketplace lmao. And what did you mean by 6pots?

And here she is. Got the engine out yesterday with the transmission. I managed to get alot out in one day too. The rotors on the car are brand new too. So are the brake pads. Calipers are in great shape too, but their standard pads though :/

6pots=gt3 6 piston calipers.

Do you have a shop? Looks like you made some great progress.

Is that a e90 in the background?

Oh Ok lol, well if I ever decide not to keep the calipers I got you will be the first to know lol.

And no I dont really have a sho, its actually my fathers shop. I just help him out at the shop and give maintenance to my cars here lol.

And that car in the back is actually a 335i that he was trying to sell. I helped him fix it from water damage its already dont just gata get rid of it now lol.
