The C4 wasn't produced until 2000 as far as I know.

Do you mean what's different between a C2 and C4 besides AWD? There really is no difference except that the C4 gets PSM standard, and on the C2 it's an option.

No...the C4 came out mid year 99...I have one. PSM standard. Brackes are the same. Came with the 5hp increase that was standard to the 2000 C2, E-Gas. Basically its a 2000 year spec'd car even though it was released mid year 1999.

The C4 also weighs more and has some extra chassis reinforcement(it's the base chassis for the GT-3). The Brakes are painted silver not black as well...

Heavier and a little slower (due to extra weight and drivetrain friction). The front chassis is reinforced to deal with the weight and power to the front wheels.

Offers better traction in slippery conditions. But, also has a little less steering feel (IMHO) due to the power routed to the "fronts". It (C4) understeers a little more than the C2 but some like the "feel" of the extra weight up front when driving.

Same brakes and same basic look on the outside and inside.

Cool

You can't forget the "carrera 4" silver badging on the back versus the black lettering on c2's. The plating adds 7hp

I wonder how much a CF Carrera 4 emblem would add
