The C4 wasn't produced until 2000 as far as I know.
Do you mean what's different between a C2 and C4 besides AWD? There really is no difference except that the C4 gets PSM standard, and on the C2 it's an option.

No...the C4 came out mid year 99...I have one. PSM standard. Brackes are the same. Came with the 5hp increase that was standard to the 2000 C2, E-Gas. Basically its a 2000 year spec'd car even though it was released mid year 1999.
