If you're replacing it anyways, I can partially understand that... the reason why the hood sounds ridiculous to me is that the car has too little weight up front to start with... if you want to remove weight, it would be best to remove it from the rear to improve the balance.
CF interior to me is ridiculous b/c it is snap on, ugly stuff that saves no weight and has no purpose.
