Auxillary Audio Cable

Hello.

Has anyone tried this on their 996? I have the CR 220 and it appears it is the same.

Any input or feedback would be great.

The radio and 6 disc cd changer (which wont read burned CD-Rs) isnt doing it for me anymore.

Looking at this before considering upgrading my car radio to a din. Thanks!

Had a similar one installed (from Becker) and it worked well. You will lose the CD changer, but I didn't have one, so I didn't miss it. You have to control everything from your phone/music player - no on screen controls.

I eventually upgraded to a single DIN unit to get other things like Bluetooth Phone support.

I looked into this awhile back and the best option I found was a hard wired Bluetooth module that fed into the aerial in of the car. This option is less intrusive and reversible whilst still being functional. Called an isimple 22 or something. I haven't installed one though
