When you did your 996 to 997 mirrors, did you find any other manufactures to buy from?

Both Extreme MC and FVD are out of stock, with no date of product coming in.

No, I only use Extreme. Jeff had them in stock, so I didn't even waste my time looking anywhere else.

 

Could you tell me how you mounted the driving lamps to the bumper shell please? We have a wrecked track car and I'm doing this same conversion.

I'm assuming I'll be manufacturing brackets and bonding or glassing them into the front shell.

Have to say brother.. I don't even have my car yet, haha. Gotta sell the AMG before I buy one and I have been struggling between a c2, a c4s, or just stretching for a turbo. But this car right here... Goals. Is all I can say. I wish I knew in the slightest how to do body work haha.

Btw any opinion on which model I should go with ? Right now I'm in an e55 amg approx 480whp after the tune I put on it. But I'm getting bored of straight line speed. I want to track the car but also it will be my daily driver. Ive heard the awd (c4 s) makes it heavy and slow ( 3300 lbs i believe as opposed to the rwd(c2) 2900 lbs) but then again the turbo is heavier to. Obviously with more power.. But I could get similar power with a c2 for less. Lol Idk.. Anyways your car is perfect. 👌👌hope you still enjoy it the way you do now for the rest of its life.
