Thumbs up

I also forgot to mention, the strategic placement of the "X" support on the Dasssport Roll Bar. There is no interference utilizing the rearview mirror.
This little things, most people don't find out until after the install.
The fella that helped me, his name was Colin, good guy!

Little late..

I commend you on an awesome job on your conversion. DIY is probably the most rewarding experience a person can achieve! Greatest thing is you will know your car inside and out! Congrats and enjoy your 996. P.S you must be single and no kids to have the time to devout to this project.

911C4S, thanks I appreciate the compliment. It was a fun project and definitely learned a lot about the car for sure.

Congrats on the engagement and 2 kids. I'm also married with 2 kids and my driving time in the 911 has diminished to lets say in 2015 I only drove 1,300 miles! I now change my oil once a year. Hope you don't follow in a lot of our footsteps, but in the end the family is worth it!!

911, sounds like my life lol. Between work and my family I think I'd be exaggerating by saying I put even 600 miles on the car for the year. I see it as my getaway and I may not get to drive her often but, it keeps that rush/excitement feeling.

Great looking project. Could you tell me about the wheels? What are they? And what size? I love that look and they look great with the color change.

Thank you Char. They are monoblock wheels. I got them from wheeldynamics.com. They were awesome and hooked me up. Great deal on wheels and tires. They gave me the colored porsche crest center caps for no extra charge.

Excellent! What size are you running? Also, did you lower your car and if so did you use coilovers or lowering springs?
Thanks!

They are 19x9 in the front and 19x11 in the rear. Yes, I did lower the car. I used coil overs cause I had H&R springs on the car but the car just didn't sit as low as I wanted it to be. So, I swapped then out for a set of coil overs. H&R makes a great coil over set up for street and track use. They are not as good as k&w but, if you're not tracking the car weekly and all out racing it then the k&w is just a waste of money for the daily driver 911.

Sorry about your troubles but if you did a simple search on Wicked Motorsports, you would've seen all the negative reviews on them.

At this point I'm not even sure if you can even align them correctly.
