Yeah those rear lights are not on my list to buy.

Different strokes for different folks. I'm really happy with the turn out if the HIDS. I'm nervouse the cops will bust me for them. Just like the rear lights, we all have our personal taste. Doesn't make one person right or the other one wrong. Thank you, I could already be fully finished but I've been so busy lately I haven't had much time to spend with the car. I hope to be done this weekend.

Those LED tail lights are kinda weird looking, stocks look much better.

Love this thread your car looks amazing and looks like all the hard work you put in is paying off.

Thanks Jonny! It's been a long process (I've dragged it out) but a fun one. I'm not done yet though, next is the interior.

It doesn't look like I did much tonight but I did lol. Both fender liners are back in and the car is ready to come off the jackstands but I don't want to take the car down until I have all the lights fully installed. I am having to make a mounting bracket for the bumper lights because they are hitting the radiator line. I got the drivers side in and fully hooked up. I also got the emblem on the hood.

The fender liners have to be modified in order to fit right. It started off as a real pain but once I figured out what I want to do with them it really wasn't that hard, just time consuming.

Tomorrow night I will get the other bumper light wired and mounted uo and the car back off the jackstands. I then have to install the hood latch and hood bumpers. Lastly I will have to mount the gas door bracket and then mount the gas door that I also wrapped in carbon. I HOPE to be done tomorrow night but we will see how it goes.

Tomorrow

Looking good. I forgot if you were going to be installing mesh grills or not?

Tonight is the night I finally get to see her out of the garage. Pleased doesn't even begin to explain how I feel about the way this project has turned out. I just look at the car and feel a dream come true.

I'm not completely finished yet. I have to install the hood latch, install the gas door and put the windshield wipers back on. I hope to have all that finished by the end of this weekend.

Let me know what you all think!!!!

It truly amazes me what some guys can accomplish with next to no speciality tools or a fancy shop! I wish I could complete mods like this as I have the shop for it just not the talent. Hats off its stunning I wish I could replicate it with my own 996 4s.

Turbo, thanks for the awesome compliment. It really wasn't all that hard with patience. I wanted to see the end product so bad but I had to keep myself in check. The wait was absolutely worth it. I'm sure you can accomplish this as well. Today it's too easy with YouTube. Everything you need to learn is at the click of a button. I haven't touched body work on a car in 13 years. When I first started this project everything I had learned was out the window. I forgot how to do it all. I slowed down and retrained myself.

Here is a couple daylight pics. I pulled the car out to clean my entire garage today. I still have to do the hood latch and gas door. I will do them tonight or tomorrow and post a couple pictures. Next I'll be starting on the interior and will post pictures once I get the rollcage in and get that all started.

I'm following on my iPhone and it's likely been posted but if not. What is the kit cost and what extras do you need? I'm guessing head lights are extra? Beautiful work maybe it's something I should look at!
