Like Father like Son

Well, over the weekend my son came to me and said he wanted to buy a Porsche! Then he asked if I would help him with the search because he trusted my opinion, touches my heart! He's found a few he likes, which are Boxters so our search is beginning! He's looking for a weekend car to beach it with the girl friend and won't be using it for a DD. So now we start the fun

My dad had a 912 when I was just a young pup. He later bought a 2003 C2, which I followed up years later with a 2002 C2 . . . sometimes it's cool to be like dad Have fun! KH

Well said, guess we really don't appreciate them until we're all grown up He's only 23 so that really touched me....

Oh! Congratulations! You might just be emerging from the Dad-is-Dumb phase . . . maybe. My kiddos are still small, so I am enjoying the god-like qualities of being a dad . . . getting ready for the inevitable fall. HaHa!

Such a nice feeling I bet

My sons only 5 and has already asked if he can drive the 'funny' car when he's older (must mean it's a car for life) and also why is the engine of our Lexus not in the back like our really fast car??? So proud on many levels, he recognises it's speed, his urge to drive it but mostly the engine belongs in the rear.

"Dad, why did you help me pick a lemon? My motor blew and was wondering if I can borrow $15k?"

Lol, j/k. Have fun with the search. The search itself is half the fun. Just be glad you have the MK2 model.

I have a feeling my 5 year old (during this video) would grow up like that. I was lucky enough to record his "best day of my life" moment.

Haha! I heard the Tesla's insanity boost is akin to the Porsche launch feature. He'll come around.
