I have a 99' with the grey interior. The wheel leather coloring has faded where you would typically place your hands. Has anyone had any luck re-dying this. The wheel leather is in great shape other than the fading. It just looks bad with the color mostly gone in a couple places. Any suggestions would be geatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pat

I had my seats re-dyed with the factory color (boxster red) and they turned out great. . . Just avoid the cheap immitations that are more like paint and not dye. My guy got his stuff from classic leather dye @ 800-775-8962. He simply called them up told them the year and make of my care and that was it.

He then cleaned them, and airbrushed the big parts and hand touched up the small parts with a cotton ball or cotton rag.
