Help! Rear license plate and bracket got stolen!

Some mischievous kid or petty thief decided to rip off (literally) the rear plate off my 996.2, including the plastic bracket underneath it, and the clips / screws or whatever attached it to the bumper.

What's left are 4 squarish holes on the bumper, only 2 appears to have been used, to mount the plastic bracket. (See the attached photo of the silver 996.) I have a spare plastic plate bracket but can't figure out the parts I'm missing to put it back on the car even scrounging through multiple 986 / 996 parts catalogues. Please help!

What's even more baffling is the setup and holes are completely different on a 996TT (see the attached photo of the white)!

Are you sure it wasn't a wayward moose? I thought all the Canadians were good folk.

wildbilly32 is infamous around these parts
in case your still looking:
Pelican Parts has the square plastic nuts for this application. #999-591-498-40-m100. A Porsche product. My guess is you can get them elsewhere too.
