Consider this dead horse resurrected only to be beaten again. I see a lot of tire posts regarding the 996, but most are talking about tires no longer in production. So, being that we are closing out 2015 and my 996 has bricks on it, I'd ask for a current opinion of sizes and tires you like.

I have 19's, 8.5 front and 11" rear. Car has 235 front and 275 rear now. Front fenders are rolled and can go 245, rears aren't but a 285 could fit for sure.

I will be using 18's for HPDE/AutoX, so the question is really street:
What tires are you liking for backroads burning, especially on the east coast where I will drive on sunny days all year around? (RE-11, RS3's are tempting, but I don't think I'd get them properly up to temp in the off season).

Those with 19's, sizes you like? I can't fit 305's without the coilovers (I am installing a full elephant racing suspension kit this winter). I have S-04's on my other car and really like them, but they lack a bit of turn in. Caveat: Anything is better than what is on there now!! (General Exclaim UHP from who knows when?!)
