Car seat questions

We have a 7 month old who has just grown out of her infant car seat. We were able to use the infant uppababy seat with my wife literally pushed against the dashboard but needless to say this made only short trips possible. Our other car seat is a recaro hero but this just doesn't cut it in the 991. Anyone have any recommendations. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Nick

We have a Safety 1st seat that fits well. Bought it for the smaller size for the 991. An adult can still sit in the passenger seat. This is a front-facing seat.

Thanks for the reply. It looks nice and compact. I'll definitely look more into it

When your child gets a little older the cosco backless booster fits great in and my 4 and 6 year old have no complaints.

if you need a backed booster then the harmony highback is good choice.

good luck.

I just purchased a safety 1st car seat. Would you happen to have pictures that you can post of the seat in the car? Thanks in advance!

I don't have a 911..yet lol But you can try either Diono- https://us.diono.com/ or Clek- http://clekinc.com/

Diono Radian RXT fits in the back of my Panamera perfectly. We also fitted the Radian in the rental 911 convertible which also ok.

Another option, if you want to use a full car seat in the back, is to remove the rear seat cushions. They are relatively easy to pull-out and you are left with a "shelf" on which to put the child seat, and more importantly which retains the anchor hooks. This is not something I've done before, but remember someone describing and I do know that removing the seats offers a lot more room for the car seat. Problem you run into with most car seats is the available room in the rear seat cushion isn't wide enough for most seat bases.

Hope this helps....

Diono radiant xrt fits great. I've had two of them in the back for a while. Kids have finally outgrown them and now have the cheap cosco ones that fit great.

Second the recommendation for Cosco booster for bigger kids. Fits perfectly for my 6yr old.

For my littlest one I got the Cosco high back which fits great with the lower rear seat cushion removed (it's just Velcro). It has full 5 point harness and latch. My 3yr son sits behind me in that seat with no complaints, from either of us

Both are available on Amazon.

I can snap a pic if you're interested.
