Advice on wheel cleaning, polishing

Hi guys. Welp, a dog got my my passenger front wheel recently but i didnt see it until much later. Washing my car last week, it took more than elbow grease and motivation to get the stuff off, and its not budging.

How can i get the goo off my wheel? Its like glue on there and quite unsightly.

Thanks for your help.

Rubbing alcohol on a microfiber towel should do the trick.

I will post a pic. I guess coulda done that to begin with.

Tried Griots, but no progress at all. I thought for sure that would have done the trick.

+1 on the removed clear coat. The dogs claw looks like it may have damaged the clear coat.

You can either pay $100 to get it refinished professionally or pay around $200 for a used OEM wheel and keep the other as a spare.

Yep clear coat gone. You can have it refinished pretty inexpensively if it bothers you.

Thanks for the diagnosis guys!

Sorry for the delay. Was up in DC area w my daughter for her soccer tourney over the last 5 days. And i found it strange that i only saw 1 911 the entire time. No matter tho. After spending time on 95 and radar detectors being illegal, i guess it really doesnt make sense.
