Glad you guys found ones that work perfect for your needs. I am definitely happy with the one I just purchased. It's exactly what I needed. I personally wanted something with a bottom. But, to each their own. Glad you guys shared that style cup holder. I didn't even know it was out there and I'm sure other don't as well.

I'm a bit surprised that nobody has posted a picture of a gorgeous, scantily-clad honey in the passenger seat as an ideal "cup-holder." Now that could have me taking up coffee drinking.

I've used the Sound In Motion cup holder for some time - it's great because it gets the job done and you can easily remove it when not in use. It's also very sturdy.

NY, hahahahahahah!! I literally laughed out loud when I read your comment.

Colorado, it's not that there is a lack of a beautiful women in my car. It's just the fact I don't trust anyone holding a coffee in my precious baby lol.

SMKaz, what cupholder is that? Do you have a picture of it in your car? Everyone should post what cupholder and share a picture. Since buying my C4S that's always been my one complaint about the car. For me, this was my perfect solution. Buy there is different strokes for different folks. I'd hope this thread can shine light on this issue.

This is the cup holder from www.sound-in-motion. It's a simple concept but works incredibly well with the proper size coffee or soda cup.

It's not custom - it will fit regardless - whether you have a media center, stock radio - it slides right in

You can see from this photo how it slides in and out

The 2 square cut outs are just part of the overall construction of the cup holder - I guess it's because it utilizes less material, does not take away from the rigidity and is less costly to produce - just my guess.
