what maintenance items do u do DIY?

i'm a longtime bimmerman but will be jumpin ship to porsche for the first time due to bangled $Hitmobiles.. i'm curious if porsche owners perform DIY maintenance items , eg oil change, brake pads, etc etc? is there a "reset" module that u need to buy to reset service lights? any help appreciated

btw there r tons of very helpful and thriving bimmer internet communities - i hope porsche has the same

Oil changes and brake changes...15k service and 30k service. I'm not aware of a "service" light on a Porsche, I don't think you have to worry about that. Lots of information out there on DIY. These cars are quite easy to work on.

Good luck,
Robyn
