Cool Few questions...

Does anyone elses Porsche have a little shake when stopped?
Also I noticed that the brakes kind of sinks when I brake hard, almost like its spongey. Seems like my BMW 328i has better stopping power than the Porsche. I ahve checked the brakes and they are not worn down yet, so I'm not sure if it is like that or something is wrong.
O ya, how do you get sap off your windows?!?! thanks

Umm.. I had a 328ci before and my 996 has much, much better brakes. Significantly better... You might want to have your car checked out

Re: Few questions...

When was the last time you had your brake fluid flushed? I'd get that done, or at least get the brakes well bled. My 911 brakes better than my ///M Roadster did. You might also have warped your discs, which could both cause poor braking and the shaking you describe. Definitely get it checked by a qualified and reliable professional, i.e. someone other than Midas, et al.

i think the discs may be warped, because when i stop hard, the brake pedal shakes and it feels like the brake pads are slipping off the disc or something...

very likely the warped brakes are from improperly torqued wheels. make sure after they fix it that the mechanic uses a torque wrench when putting on the wheels. if he uses an impact wrench before the torque wrench, it will warp again.
