New '09 Cayenne S Owner -- Some Questions...

Hiya everyone. I have an '07 997 C2S and just bought an '09 Cayenne S to take the place of my original daily driver -- my 2003 VW GTI 20th Anniversary Edition

I've been reading the forums, but I still have two questions...

I was thinking about getting some tint put on the two front windows -- does anyone know what to use on those windows to match the color / darkness of the "privacy glass" on the windows in the back of the car?

Also, i wanted to hardwire my v1 -- i have the homelink system, and figured the nicest / closest place to do that would be in the map light / homelink cluster -- that's how I did my C2S... Is there a good link to some pics of wires, etc that can be used to hardwire the V1?

Thanks in advance!

still haven't figured out the V1 hardwire best location.
But as for tint, I ended up doing 30% on the back, and 18% on the fronts of SunTech.
Matches perfectly and isn't too dark at all. P E R F E C T.

best place to hardwire it is the top of the windshield, close to sun visor, you can hardwire it to fuse box directly so that it will turn off as you turn the engine off..

I hardwired my V1 just below the rearview mirror (non auto dimming) I opened the plastic cap that's above the mirror and led the cable through it. Then snapped it back into place. From there I did what Canberk did, straight to the fuse box.
