Suspension Advice, Coilover Upgrade ?

Hi,

I have a C2 that I just upgraded with FVD lowering springs (These are basically rebranded H&R's). I had got the car with stock height/springs and since I track around 4-5 times a year it felt it needed some upgrade. It was a pretty cheap upgrade cost me around US$ 500. The difference is huge. I was a bit afraid to change only the springs as I saw a lot of threads advising changing shocks as well. However, apart from a slight bouncing when cornering hard, I do not find any problem with the suspension. It is, in any case, much better than stock.

My question is, has any of you done this before and then upgraded to JIC Cross or PSS9. Or have you been in/driven cars with both options. How much harder/stiffer are the coilovers or are they smoother? My car rides close to stock at present from comfort point of view. Also, how much will coilovers improve handling over just upgrading springs like I have done so far.

I am trying to figure out if it is worth it for me to spend the money to upgrade to coilovers next or just maybe buy some Bilstein Sport Shocks.

Thanks for any advice.
