Advice on side skirts

Hello all,

I have a 2003 carrera with 105,000 miles. Ive had it about one year and its been very reliable to me so far. I wanted to upgrade the look with side skirts. I was able to find 2 styles the first is the OEM ones part number 9965043630001. The other ones are called Aerokit II that I saw on sunset porsche's website. Does anyone have experience with either of these. I'm planning to get them professionally installed.

Thanks

I put on the GT3 style ones on old 996. They were from GT3 Tek. Just make sure to use the 3M prep and also make sure rear screw makes it into the metal bracket (where your stock "mud guard" unbolts). I added a rivet to the front and held perfect.

You may want to look at a body kit from Prior Design- had it installed professionally on my 996 - have received many compliments on the install.

I didn't know there were that many choices. Thanks. I'm going to get it done at a body shop.

This is the 'Free Style Body Kit' from Prior Design. I believe they have additional body kits as well.

I went with GT3 skirts and a Turbo front bumper for a Fraud 40th anniversary look

Since I never stop I added the LED tail lights as well.

I personally think they make the car look more planted, great choice
Are those OEM 19" wheels, do you have to use some extra hardware (spacers?)

The tails are Depo LED. $500-600 a set. A bit overpriced but I like the look.

I did spacer the rear wheels by 15mm. I left the fronts alone as I wasn't sure about rub issues.
