replacement battery

I would like to replace my battery on my 99 cab2 and what do you guys recommend. The dealer is quoting me $ 162. I probably can get one at kragen/sears for a lot less.

thanks.

It is a standard group size 48 battery. I have seen Sears, Interstate, and a few other brands. I have not seen a 48 at my local Kragens. I bought mine from Auto Zone for $60 almost 2 years ago. A friend bought his from Sears for $90 and when I looked at it it looked identical to mine except for the sticker on it.

My local dealer sells Douglas as a replacement. Good old US battery with a Porsche sticker on it. Jeff
