997 Pics
Looks good! To be honest, i think i have grown to like the 996 headlight shape more than the single 993 headlight. Nevertheless, no doubt that the 997 will be a beautiful car! Seems like it will be more of a facelift than a whole re -worked line.

They will have to give me some engine improvments of substance for me to change...

After looking at the photo a number of times, this is a pro "advert " shot. I'm with Darren, this has been under Photoshop. The mirrors, sidemarker lights, door handles are that of a 996, I think the wheels are Turbo Twists.
Who ever did it is running with the 993 headlight idea. Time will tell.

I really hope that they do not go for the retro look...I think it will be a step backwards.
I really do not like the indicators etc in the bumper even in some of the so called 'Snow Spy Shots' I think it makes the car look a tad too old fashioned....alas but who am I to talk....
Hey, I even prefer the front end of a 996 vs a 993....looks sleeker..

I think that is what Porsche needs to do. They need to add 993 styling to the 996. My only complaint with the 996 is that it never had the beautiful wheel flares like the 993. I am welcoming this change with open arms. This 997 style should of been the 996 back in 1999.
