Why do you read it as condenscending? Is anyone here running for Miss Congeniality? Is anything I said, incorrect or are you being overly sensitive?
If you have to ask....

C2

With PSM you don't need to worry about the rain. Snow tires for snow.

I'm planning on test driving the C4S this weekend or next. I'm glad that its winter here in the northeast. It gives me a couple months of time to find the right 996. Thanks for all the input members, a website like this makes the hobby even better!

I read about these two in Evo mag and test drove them both and agree with it totally. If you do not know about this mag, pick one up. It's all about "The Thrill of Driving." It's most important that the car is rewarding to drive than being fast.

Quotes from Evo Mag on plus and minuses
3.6 C2: +Faster more secure than 3.4; -A little less thrilling.
3.6 996 C4S: +Second best only to GT3; -Very little.

The C4S is also the choice of best Coupe/GTs by Evo Mag. Until 997CS came along. It beat out M3s and Lotus Exige. Not to mention any of the TVRs, Merc CL55 & 65s, Bentley CGT, Maserati, even the NSX-R.

Rewarding? Oh yeaaaaaa
