1k for the headers n exhuast what deal!

the pirce difference bet a german & that taiwanese one will be large.. even if the german one is betetr the hp gain over the taiwanese one would be minial ..

there's not a lot of power u can get out of an n/a go unless u go internal work

so any exhaust should do fine and fromt he pics of it the pieces seem to be of good quality

looked at the site no turbo exhuast

hope they have one soon

Thanks Sandoval, 20lb weight savings would be nice, so what else do you have to buy if you just get the cat back?

Bow which parts are you wanting to buy? just the mufflers? if so nothing else really you should have the parts. Unless you want to get new tip clamps which I recommend from Fabspeed for $30.

Sand: Did I read that right? Your headers were only 6 pounds each? That is superlight. I neglected to weigh my suncoast headers, but I know for sure they were heavier than that.

The stuff looks great in the pics. They certainly appear to be good quality. I really like the finish. It will intersesting to see how the welds, etc... hold up over time. That is the only negative thing I've heard about Taiwanese products is the welding. If they do hold up, this will certainly be the best bargain out there for sure.

You just have to do some dynos!!! Come on man, it's only $50

I'd be cautious with the cat bypasses. You really should do a dyno before and after you install those for sure. I know someone who did some testing on high flow cats/bypasses and came with nothing or even lost HP.

Barebones: I have do disagree with you on not much to be gained from an NA exhaust I picked up 27 RWHP at around 5K and around 10 RWHP and 10RWFP peak with my suncoast headers. EVO was interested enough in the Suncoast headers that they're now testing them themselves on a 996 and 997.

I will put it on the dyno afterwards. I can probably find someone like Tim W. to do a run with me. I need to get him to do it before he starts modding his car though. Even if the Cat bypass does nothing I save another 20Lbs. With the mufflers on I don't think the exuast will be obnoxious.

As for the welds they really do look good. I'm impressed with the product so far. Will see after the sound.

good point on the weight savings!

i think you're going to be really surprised by the sound though. luis993 took his cats off and ran the stock mufflers. it is LOUD.

i haven't heard the muffler bypass in person, but from the clips i've heard, i'd bet it'll be close. luis' car is very very loud. i was shocked when i found out he was still running stock cans.

i'm not saying he won't get that gain, but probably not. the people that took my headers tested everybody elses (on and off the dyno) to come up with their special design. suncoast tested many other name brand headers and came up with either no gains or next to nothing. based on the fact that zerotek's intial release description of their headers was an exact cut and paste off the fabspeed site, i'm guessing they used fabspeed as their go by for the header design.

like i said before, if these perform and the welds hold up well, they may be the best deal going of the year for the 996's! it will definately force some people to start adjusting their prices downward to be competitive.

Not really. I had a drive with NYSEGuy when he still had his yellow 996 (with the black tire stripe down the middle) and he had muffler by-pass pipes. His car was just as loud as mine. Depdogs car is just as loud as mine now. Mine just has a deeper sound.

yeah, but the scary part of Luis' car is that it's freakin' loud and he still has stock mufflers

yes, my car is as loud as Luis' now, but I have headers and aftermarket mufflers, whereas his headers and mufflers are stock. those cats really do trap quite a bit of sound.
