ZERO TEK exhaust anyone?

Zero Tek offers a full sport exhaust system - headers and mufflers - in stainless steel for $999.00. Anyone ever heard of this system? Is it a deal or is it a rip off? And, most importantly, how does it sound?

i only know of one person that purchased the headers, and as far as I know, they have not been installed or dyno'd. It is my understand that they're made in Taiwan. They do exist though. Who's brave enough to try them?

I have thrown more money down at the roulette table ... I hope this bet has better odds. I bought them Thursday afternoon I called the company direct from a number posted on Rennlist. They shipped them the same afternoon. I got them today packaged very well from the factory. I pulled them out and the craftsmanship is top notch. Visually a very well made product. I am waiting for a set of Fabspeed Cat Bypass pipes to be delivered before installing. I hope to install everything on Saturday. last Sunday I pulled the Headers and Cats The mufflers were already out. I applied liquid wrench to the header bolts twice within a 30 or so hour period. Even though they were very rusty they came out very easy. I was afraid that they would snap. I loosened the bolts by hand then used an air wrench to remove them. 30 min and they were out. Very accessible too.

One thing you need to keep in mind is that none of the hardware was supplied with the headers and mufflers. Gaskets, Clamps, brackets on the backside of the muffler etc. I will post some pics in a bit.

No unfortunatley I did not... It was a spur of the moment purchase. I sold the Muffler bypass and decided to go back to a PSE which I had before. Then I started to follow your Header quest and decided to take a stab at the product. I should have taken the time and put the mufflers back in... but I didn't.

you should get a dyno run done anyway. we have a pretty good idea what 3.4 liter base run should look like.

so you'll have the fabspeed cat bypasses, zerotek headers, and pse?

how did your late order on the GB work out?

I purchased the full Z-exhaust $999 (Free shipping if you mention the Rennlist offer), Mufflers , headers, and the Fabspeed bypass. Stock Tequipment Tips. $90 in new hardware (Clamps, gaskets, bolts, and Fabspeed quick Disconnect Tip clamps.)

GB left her a message I will let you know. Thanks for the info though.

The Suncoast headers do not have holes on the mountaing area. However they do look like the Schnell headers advertised on ebay. Almost ideticle.

I will weigh them in a bit.
