Blue Dash Light conversion...

I just had a new Alpine head unit installed in my 02 996. The illumination on the Alpine has changed to blue - no longer a yellowish green as in models past. The blue totally clashes with the yellow dash lights. It was really bothering me driving home last night and tried every item in the Alpine’s menu to see it could be changed. The lights are blue. I like blue. Could I change the Porsche dash lights to blue? Later in the evening, I ran across this auction on eBay:

Item #8029708539

They list 996 up to 01. Does anyone know the difference between 01 and 02 dash lighting? I've tried contacting the seller but no response as yet. I'm thinking they might not even know. Anyone know if there is difference or perhaps another vendor who sells blue dash lights?

Thanks…

I have the blue lights and I like them alot......Just my opinion, never saw the white ones. My blue ones are pretty bright and match my head unit.

The Alpine 9831 deck has 512 colors to choose from. I would highly recommend it for a perfect match that will give you the oem look.

Too late. I already bought the Alpine CDA 9851. No color adjustment. I'd really prefer blue dash lights. I found out the diff - in 02 Porsche soldered in the bulbs.
