I have a 1999 c2 with an after market kenwood deck that's about 5 years old with stock speakers. One of the speakers is blown but even before that the sound quality was far from good. I want to update my sound system but want nothing to do with anything crazy. My ideal solution would be to keep my deck and update the speakers to the point that the sound quality is on par with a basic sound system of a new car. I'm not really looking for a amp and kicker type speakers. Is it possible to achieve a quality sound with some moderate bass with just the deck and speakers?? If so what would you recommend? Thanks.
